After China, Bangladesh is the second largest RMG exporters in the world. Mainly knitwear and woven garments are being exported from Bangladesh. Different types of non-traditional and technical garments products are exporting in a large amount from Bangladesh. And the garments exporters are getting a lot of amount of non-traditional and garments order from different international retailers.

Besides non-tradition garments Bangladesh also exports military uniforms, outdoor jackets, tents, jute slippers etc. British Army, French Navy is importing their uniform from Bangladesh.
One of the officials of Chittagong EPZ opines that, “Very few people know that Bangladesh is the top exporter of army boots for some European nations. The boots are made in the factories housed in the EPZs of Chittagong.”
Bangladesh also produces high-quality ski jackets which export price range between 1200 USD and 1500 USD a piece. For producing technical garments factories owner are giving training to workers. In production of technical garments female workers are showing more efficiency. For increasing their efficiency foreigners are also taking part by giving training to them.
As we know foreign investors are mainly offered to invest in the EPZ only. And because cheaper making cost in Bangladesh different foreign investors are establishing their factories in EPZ of Bangladesh for producing different types of non-traditional and technical garments.
Mainly the US and some European countries are the major export destination of such technical and non-traditional garments. So if this process is going on in such a way than Bangladesh can be one of the major sourcing countries of non-traditional and technical garments as well as others item also.
