There are four textile engineering colleges in Bangladesh. Pabna Textile Engineering College (PTEC) is the best engineering college ever. Besides its quality of education, it also provides quality constructional facilities. It has its Administrative, Spinning, Weaving, Dyeing, Teachers Dormitory, Jute shed buildings etc. It has also a enrich library and a well decorated Auditorium. It has a large playground too.

It should be added that another teachers dormitory building is also completed recently which was under construction. It is a very beautiful and modern dormitory. Different facilities like internet, room heater, water heater, telephone line, AC etc are available.

It has also a newly completed mechanical workshop which was also under construction. It is a modern workshop with modern machines, equipment, work aids and other facilities. It is capable to help the students to do any mechanical researches and experiments.
About the boys hostel I can add that about 95% development work has been completed. It is also a nice hostel to look at and also modern. The facilities like wash room, prayer room, indoor games, canteen, TV room, guest room etc are present here. It will be hand over by February 28, 2015 to the college authority by the developers.
About the girls hostel I can also add that about 40% development work has been completed. It will also be a modern hostel. It is well designed. All the facilities like wash room, prayer room, indoor games, canteen, TV room, guest room, kitchen room etc. will be presented here. It will also be hand over by June 30, 2015 to the college authority by the developers.
All the roads connecting all the buildings are also wide. You can easily move from one building to another by these roads. Some new roads are also under construction. These new roads will connect the boy’s hostel, weaving building and mechanical workshop with the mail road. All these constructional works will be completed by February 10, 2015.
Besides these constructional works, some other small constructional works like Shahid Minar, Lake etc. is also going on. The lake will be in the front side of the campus and the Shahid Minar is beside the Boys hostel. The Shahid Minar is a symbol of pride for all Bangladeshi. Because, in the year February 21, 1952, some Bangladeshi people gave their blood for our Bengali language. Every year February 21, all the Bangladeshi people wake up early in the morning and go to the Shahid Minar bare footed and give flowers in respect for the Shahids who protected our right to speak in Bengali language giving their life.
