3rd Denim Expo will start on 1st March, 2015. The Expo will be held at Hotel Radisson Blue Water Garden in the capital of Bangladesh on March 1-2. It is organized by Denimsandjeans.com Bangladesh. Target of the event to hold local and international denim customers. Organizer expect that the show will bring some of the most important denim personalities of the globe under one roof and help in further focus on the denim industry in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is a major production hub for denim and jeans. It exports close to 200 million pieces of denim apparel to US and EU alone . For EU, Bangladesh is the second largest exporter of denim after China and for US it is the third largest after China and Mexico. Bangladesh enjoys duty free status to EU for its exports of garments and also to some other countries including India.
"I feel that Bangladesh has strengths in apparel industry duly supported by textile base which no other Asian country has,” Sandeep Agarwal, owner of Denimandjeans.com Bangladesh, said in the statement.
Twenty six companies from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Germany, Turkey, Brazil and China will show their products in the exhibition.
