Gigabyte Inter Textile Gaming contest 2015 was held in National Institute of Textile Engineering & Research (NITER) on December 25 & 26 organized by NITER Computer CLUB (NCC). The arrangement of this event was focused on the interrelation among the institutions of Textile.

An inauguration program was held on December 25 at NITER conference room. Afroja Khan Director of Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) was the chief guest of this program. Md. Korshed Alam Director BTMA, Mehrun N. Islam Managing Director of CEMS-Global also presented in program as special guest. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mizanur Rahman presided over the program.
After the inauguration program, chief guest Afroja Kanom played an NFS game and inaugurated the Gigabyte Inter Textile Gaming Contest 2015.
67 players from 8 different universities participated in this gaming contest. This Gaming Contest based on three games. Those are- FIFA 14, Call of Duty- Modern warfare 4 & Need for speed- Most wanted.
28 players participated in FIFA 14 games. Mujahidul Islam from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST) became the champion and Mazidul Haque Ridoy from Begumganj Textile Engineering College (BTEC) was the runner-up of FIFA-14 game. Champion got BDT 6000 check and runners-up got BDT 3000 check. They also got crest and special gift from Gigabyte and Esset antivirus.
16 players participated in Need For Speed-Most WANTED game. A.D Shilton from Chittagong Textile Engineering College (CTEC) became champion and Tawhid Hossain Turzo from National Institute of Textile Engineering & Research (NITER) was the runners-up. Champion got BDT 5000 check and runners-up got BDT 2000 check. They also got crest and special gift from Gigabyte and Esset antivirus.
6 team participated in Call OF Duty 4-Modern Warfare game. Team ECO from from National Institute of Textile Engineering & Research (NITER) became champion and Team BUTex from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTex) was the runners-up. Champion got BDT 15000 check and runners-up got BDT 5000 check. They also got crest and special gift from Gigabyte and Esset antivirus.
A prize giving ceremony was held in NITER conference on December 27 evening. Abdullah Al Mamun president Apparel Merchandiser club of Bangladesh (AMCB) was the chief guest of the program.
