Construction of TECN Student Hostel is Going on

To solve the residential problem, construction of student hostel in Textile Engineering College, Noakhali is going on. It is 600 meters far from the main campus and near to Noakhali Medical College in a very quiet place.

To maintain good environment a medium size pond will be made in front of the hostel. A nice garden will be placed in the middle of the hostel building. At preliminary stage it planed of four stored including a wider dining room, TV room, common room and a praying room. In the north side of the hostel building a large playground will be made.

TECN Student Hostel under construction

Textile Engineering College, Noakhali has started B.Sc. course in 2006. Since the bachelor degree started in textile engineering course, students have been facing residential problem. Overrated house rent and other high expenditure, students are facing pretty to bear their financial cost.

From the beginning, students informed the project director and the principal of the college about their residential problem. They wanted permanent solution of this problem. By the strive of the students of this campus, they have got allotment for the hostel. By this fund primarily construction work of the student hostel has start. Construction of this hostel will be completed before June, 2015.

At least 180 students residential problem will be solve by this hostel. Meanwhile there is a girl’s hostel, a temporary boy’s hostel and a teacher’s dormitory present at the main campus.
