Bangladesh till now mostly dependent on the buyers of the EU countries and US in the case of RMG exporting. It is always a current and burning issue how we can get the RMG buyers of other’s countries. In some occasion our honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also point out to search for new market of potential RMG exporting purpose.

In keeping this issue as a target Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) is in great research that how Bangladesh RGM exporters can get the other buyers of different countries beside EU countries and US buyers.
As the first of this effort BKMEA President AKM. Salim Osman, MP has compiled ‘Global Buyers Information Directory’ named 1000 pages book. This book contains 20,000 buyers list from 160 countries. It also covers tariff and non-tariff structures, economic preview, air and sea route cost, international pricing comparison and others different RMG related information. It took two years hard research to compile the information for ensuring that this book is rich one. This is really a unique one which has contained unique information and it has been already copyrighted in the BKMEA name. So, copying must be prohibited.
AKM Salim Osman, President of BKMEA hopes that this book will help the garments exporters to get new market place in the case of exporting knitwear, woven wear, sweater and other clothing. He opined that this directory will bolster the Bangladesh RMG sector greatly within two-three years after the publication of this informative book. But this trying will be successful greatly when it will be come in term of use effectively by our RMG business person.
