    500 Crores Taka Loss in Fashion Industry

    As a result of ongoing Blockade and Hartal there has been 500 cores Taka loss in Bangladesh fashion industry as well as butik shop also. At the same time there has been an about 200 cores taka loss in the hand loom sector in Bangladesh. From last 27 days restless blockade is mainly responsible for this loss.
    Road blockade during Hartal
    As protest issue the leaders of FEAB have taken part in a Manob Bondhon at the Baily Road in Dhaka. After Manob Bondhon, some ramp model do fashion show in this Baily Road.

    In this Manob Bondhon, the president of FEAB Mr. Azharul Islam described about the loss of fashion industries. He said,” till now hand loom owners loss about 200 cores taka. And now they are not getting order of Pahela Boisakh orders, So there is a provability of losing 300 cores taka more.”

    They were there with 500 feet long banner which contained different slogans, i.e

    “ Ponno bikrir sundor poribesh caai”,

    " Purche manush purche desh”,

    “ Vara dibe K, Beton dibe K?”

    "Taat bacaw, Taati bacaw”,

    “ Dhongsattok rajnitee theke poritraan caai” etc.

    One of the business man of Tanggail shari named Raghunath Bosak said, “We are unable to supply shari, we are not getting new orders. How will give the wages of workers?”

    Who will give the answer of this question? Is there anybody? Knew it. Nobody there is.
