The effect of present burning situation in Ready Made Garments (RMG) section may be visible in the exporting statistics of May-June. That’s why RMG report may not be found satisfactorily in near future said leaders of BGMEA.

Till now in current FY 2014-2015 there has been exporting worth 1 thousand 862 crore 62 lakh USD. From this total exporting amount from RMG,woven section has made 955 crore USD and Knit section has made 906 crore USD.

Vice president of Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association point out saying that, “ Apparel exports have been on the rise as major markets like the US are showing positive signs. We needed to grow by 10 percent every month to achieve the target $27 billion garment export in the current fiscal year.”

So, it is the high time to come forward in the shake of country’s giant profit. Otherwise if the Hartal and Blockade goes on continuous way than current upward curve of RMG exporting will no longer exist.
