    Working Hours does not Apply in Garments Factory

    Factory working hours are not being followed. Workers continue their duty 16 to 17 hours instead of 8 hours. In the meantime overtime are given that is so little. Many garment factories of Bangladesh labor laws are not being followed. OSK Bangladesh Garment Workers Federation, said speakers in a discussion at Friday.

    Labor leader Bashar said the meeting, if any worker avoids working in the industry for more than 8 hours then he would out of the service. Overtime is not paid at all, according to the labor law.
